The Riyad El Cadi is a maze-like collection of rooms only a short walk from Djmaa el Fna offering unexpected delights at every turn: unadorned Moroccan architecture in its pure forms with lovers' balconies, secret alcoves and glimpses of an outstanding collection of art and antiques from Morocco to Turkey..

The late owner, former German Ambassador to Morocco, was an important collector of early Berber textiles, Islamic and Byzantine art and rare Moroccan artifacts. His museum quality pieces are displayed in every room.

Altogether five courtyards provide various areas in which to relax under palms and citrus trees or beside the small pool. Three salons with a TV and hifi, a well-stocked library, a red walled hammam and extensive roof terraces with deckchairs and tents ensure that there is always somewhere quiet to be found at Riyad el Cadi.

The ground floor rooms have ensuite showers and the first floor, air-conditioned rooms and suites ensuite bathrooms. Maison Bleue - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, small kitchen: ideal for families. Each room or suite is decorated using items from the collection as a centre piece, such as an original painted ceiling, Ottoman embroideries, a Roman capitol or a Chinese chest.
Riyad El Cadi has a calm and refined ambience - a combination of the elegance of the setting and the considerate service provided by its welcoming staff.

Children Policy: baby cots are available and may be put into every room (however room Camel and Alep might be quite small). To the following rooms a bed for children may be added: Chaouen, Douiriya, Ottoman, Palm and Blue House (free of charge for children up to 12 years old).

Cancellation policy: For cancellations 2-4 weeks before arrival, a 30% cancellation fee is applied. A 100% cancellation fee is due when cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of arrival. In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged. We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforseen circumstances.The deposit is fully refundable (minus bank charges) if cancellation occurs up to 4 weeks before arrival.
