Riad O2 is located in the heart of the Ancient Medina of Marrakech just steps from the Mausoleum and Mosque of Sidi Ahmed Soussi, in the ancient quarter Sidi Ben Sliman. This guest house offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations. Located a short distance from the souks and a 15 minute walk from Jemaa el Fna! Riad O2 has 4 rooms, 2 suites and a wellness area to ensure you a pleasant and relaxing stay.
In the front courtyard you can relax by the banana trees located close to the central fountain. We also have a pool-Jacuzzi and a Hammam. Come and sunbathe on the terrace near the Berber tent. In the evening you can enjoy homemade dishes of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Depending on the season, we can serve these on the patio, in your room or on the terrace.

This guest house has a 4 star hotel rating. It is close to the city center, the train station (only 1.0 km as the crow flies) and only 5 km from the airport. Also, children are welcome - we offer a playground and obviously a cot for your room (please mention when booking).
The staff offer room and wake-up service. You can store your valuables in the safe at the reception which is staffed 24/24. WiFi (internet access) is available in your room or in the lobby. During your stay you can rent a car directly from the riad. Bathrooms come with hair dryers. The rooms are air conditioned. We offer a non-smoking room (please mention when booking). This riad has a garden with a deck, a dining area, a gazebo, a summer dining room overlooking the pool, and a large lounge with a wonderful bar where you can find drinks near the fireplace. This area also doubles as a great spot for candle-light dinners where you can experience a romantic atmosphere with the light of the stars overhead.
The Spa is a haven of well-being with two steam rooms, five massage salons which are all available upon request. Also, at your disposal is a fitness room. Parking is conveniently located next to the riad.

It is possible to rent the Riad & Spa Esprit du Maroc exclusively - enough to accomodate about 30 people.
If you reserve the whole riad, we require a 30% deposit upon booking.
Taxes (TPT + TC) = 3 euros per night per person.

Family-Friendly Riad
Moroccan culture is a family-friendly culture. They love children. In the streets children will be greeted with warm smiles and lots of attention. If you are here for more than a weekend there is a good chance the locals will take the time to learn your kids' names.
Because most of the medinas are very old, their streets are often bumpy and can present some challenges to those with small children. In addition, the Moroccan riad can be a great place for a family vacation, but because of style, amenities and other guests staying within earshot, some cater more for families with small children, while others are not adequately suited to host these type of guests.
A Few Questions to Ask Your Potential Riad to Get the Most Out of Your Stay:
- Do you welcome families with young children? Becaue of acoustics and types of travelers, some riads feel uncomfortable servicing clients with young children. It is nothing personal, each riad has to think about what kind of clients they can service. You will be happier in finding a riad that feels it can take care of you well.
- Do you have things like high chairs and baby beds? Riads are not like large chain hotels and some of them are equipped with things like baby chairs and beds and others are not. Make sure you ask before you come. If you need a bathtub for your child be sure to ask if your room is equipped with one.
- Is your riad noisy at night? Depending on the clientele of the riad, they might be noisier late at night when a small child might be a sleep and quieter in the mornings when a small child would want to play.
- Will my room be big enough to accomodate our child? Some of the rooms in the riads are fairly small and would not be able to accomodate a small child in them in addition to the bed that is already there.
